W.W.W. Wednesday

W.W.W. is a weekly feature hosted by Should Be Reading. Visit their site to see how to participate... or just see below because its pretty self-explanatory. I usually do Waiting on Wednesday, but I feel like I'm running out of things to be waiting on so I'm skipping this week until I do some more book-searching.

  • What have you just finished reading?
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
I enjoyed this book alot - I posted a review on it recently - check it out, and let me know what you thought (or if you havent read it, if you're thinking about reading it).

  • What are you currently reading?
Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver
Enjoying it aso far but I'm only about 50 pages in. This is much shorter than Beautiful Creatures so hopefully I'll move through it a little faster.

  • What do you plan on reading next?
Well last week I was determined to read City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare, but when it came down to it, I picked up Pandemonium. So I'm not making any promises but I think I am either going to read Fever by Lauren DeStefano (especially so I can go pick up Sever) or Cinder by Marissa Meyer because the amazing reviews this book is getting are starting to get to me. Oh the pressure!!!

So what reads are on your list this week? Have any of you read my picks? What did you think - I'd love to hear from you!

Happy Reading :)

  1. You must be excited about the Beautiful Creatures movie...I just love a good movie based on a good book - not that it always works out that way! It sounds like the writer/director Richard LaGravenese may not have done such a great job adapting it but film critics rarely seem to have read the books any adaptation is based on so I don't know how it compares. My son is acquainted with Alden Ehrenreich; he is supposed to an amazing actor with a bright future. Would love to know what you think.

  2. Hi Manda,

Thank you for stopping by Fiction Books and introducing yourself today. I love 'meeting' new people and your visits and comments will always be welcome.

I seem to have caught up with most of your books, when they are mid-way through a series, which makes it quite difficult for me to comment.

I am notoriously bad at reading a series of books in any kind of logical sequence, so unless a book is a stand-alone novel, or works well as a stand-alone story, then I tend to chicken out of adding it to my list.

I do however think that the cover of 'Pandemonium' is amazing and I really hope that you are enjoying it.

I hope that yur week is going well so far,

    Yvonne

  4. I really need to give Beautiful Creatures another shot I saw the movie last week and enjoyed it. SO I think that will help spur me on to try to book once again since the book is always better than the movie.

    My WWW Wednesday is here.

  5. Great books! You should tooooootally read Cinder, it's great! Pandemonium was okay, although not as good as Delirium, in my eyes, and Beautiful Creatures is on my to-read list :D I haven't heard of Fever, so I'll have to really look into that, haha! Happy Reading!

  6. I hope you enjoy both Fever and Cinder when you get round to reading them! I didn't think I'd like the Chemical Garden books, but found them to be really good! I've had to stop myself from ordering Sever as I've got too many books to read already! :)
